In this article you will be able to know about Remote Control Drone like what is Remote Control Drone, How Remote Control Works and Types of Remote Control Drone. Well you should also know that earlier remote control helicopters used to sell a lot, but in today's time, remote control drones have come in the market, which are quite popular, there are many reasons for this, about which you will be told one by one below.
What is Remote Control Drone?
Remote control drones are those drones that have more than four fans around them, ie, to fly the device upwards in the air. Although a maximum of three fans are given in the helicopter to fly, but you will get to see the drones with four wings, you will get to see 6 wings and drones with 8 fans will also be seen. By the way, remote control drones work much better i.e. they fly if it is compared with remote control helicopters.

What is Drone |
Such as the speed of the remote control drone being very fast and being able to lift more weight etc. For this reason, remote control drones are working very well and they are sold in the highest quantity.
Parts of Remote Control Drone :
The interior of a remote control drone and its construction is quite difficult if it is compared with a remote control, because many components are seen inside it. We have attached a picture of how all the parts inside the drone are installed, you can see there. The details of the visible parts inside the remote control drone are as follows :
- Motor :
The biggest and main part is the motor inside the remote control drone. By the way, there are two types of motor, one of which is DC motor while the name of the other motor is BLDC motor. By the way, there will be very few drones in which DC motor is used inside and their cost is very less. Whereas inside some expensive or very expensive remote control drones, only BLDC ie brushless DC motor is used because its speed and power are very high, due to which this motor consumes a lot of current.
- Speed Controller :
By the way, to control the speed of the DC motor, both the sensor and the controller have been combined, whereas a separate speed controller is given inside the smart looking remote control drone, whose main job is to control the speed of the BLDC motor with the help of signals. do. Speed controllers are also used in the same amount as the motor is engaged, because different BLDC motor speeds are read to increase or decrease in different ways.
- Sensor :
Both the sensor and the controller are the same board, from which the work of the sensor is to control the balance, such as the work of the sensor is to see which side the remote control drone is tilted more. That's why the sensor is installed. Inside it is the controller, whose job is to control the remote control drone.
- Receiver :
Receiver is a small box whose job is to catch the signal and send the signal, the work of the remote is only. The receiver is directly connected to the sensor with the help of a wire. But receivers also work to send signals together so that the drone remains under the control of the remote and the necessary information can reach the remote and the same information is visible in the screen. But such features are not seen in low-cost remote control drones.
- Battery :
There are two types of battery in which one is Lion battery while the other is Lipo battery. Lion battery is used very less because it is not able to store more current despite its weight. Whereas Lipo batteries are mostly used inside remote control drones so that more current can be stored in spite of less weight. But the cost of the Lipo battery is quite high, due to which it is not used inside the least priced RC drones.
- Body :
The body of the remote control drone is made of plastic only so that the weight of the RC drone is minimal. The plastic body is called a frame by the way.
- GPS :
GPS is all installed separately when you are making your own remote control drone. GPS is also similar to an antenna whose job is to transmit video or audio recorded by the camera to the remote. Although the companies making the same GPS drones put it inside the drone itself, but its size is reduced.
How Drone Works :
The working method of a drone is completely different and difficult than that of a remote control helicopter, which may take a little more time for you to understand. But we are going to explain you with the help of pictures so that you can understand about drones quickly.
First of all, the button is pressed to fly the drone upwards, then the remote emits a signal and the receiver inside the drone works to capture this signal. The job of the receiver is to catch the signal, after which the receiver gives this signal to the controller inside the drone. The controller gives a signal to the ESC only after taking this signal and according to the ESC signal gives the speed to the motor. Speed depends on the current i.e. with the help of ESC signal, it is able to reduce or increase the speed of the motor only by increasing or decreasing the current. The job of the ESC inside the drone is just to control the speed of the motor by catching the signal.

Drone working diagram |
By the way, there are four motors around the drone, out of which two motors rotate anticlockwise while the remaining two motors rotate clockwise. Two or two motors rotate in different directions so that the drone does not start rotating in its place while standing and this happens only when all the motors of the drone rotate in the same direction. For example, if all the motors of the drone start rotating in the left direction, then its force will also go to the left, so that the drone will also continue to rotate to the left. Two motors rotate in different directions for the drone to stay in its place.
After this, it comes to how the drone moves to the right and left while standing. So the answer to this also tells the speed of the motor. For example, if the speed of the a and c motors outside the drone is reduced a little, then the drone will move to the left because the a and c motors were moving to the right and the force decreased on the right side due to the low speed of the motor. . While the speed of the b and d motors was fast, which was spinning thin to the left and the force was also going more towards the left, due to which the drone started moving to the left. But you also remember that when the speed of the a and c motor is reduced, then the drone slowly starts coming down, due to which the speed of the remaining two motors is also increased slightly so that the drone Stand in your place and move around.
Above we had told how the drone moves to the left and right, but now we will tell you how the drone moves to the left and right, that is, it flies. To turn the drone to the left, the speed of both the motors on the left side is reduced, due to which the left side of the drone starts tilting down. Only after tilting the left side down, the speed of the motor mounted on the left side is reduced to the same speed as it was kept before so that the left side of the drone does not tilt much. Now you see in the picture where and how the drone is standing in uneven but immediately after the left side of the drone is tilted, the speed of all the four motors of the drone is increased simultaneously so that the drone goes to the left. To turn the drone to the right, even after reducing the speed of the motor on the right side, the speed of the four motors is increased simultaneously immediately after the drone is tilted slightly, so that the drone will fly to the right .
The balance of the drone is done only by the sensor installed inside it, which works only towards the gyroscope on one side. The job of this sensor inside the drone is to detect which side the drone is tilted more. After this, if the drone is leaning slightly to the left or is about to tilt, then it increases the speed of the motor on the left side so that the drone remains straight. The sensor gives the signal to the ESC to increase the speed, not the speed of the motor, so that the ESC accelerates the speed of the motor.
The shape of the propeller is not the same for everyone. As in a motor and the shape of propeller engaged in c motor is same but different from d and b propeller. So that due to the different rotations of the motor, the propeller will hit the air downwards so that the drone will be able to lift upwards.
- Note :
Above we have explained in detail how the parts inside the drone work, but you have to press only one button, while the drone does the rest on its own like which motor speed up and which motor speed should be reduced is.
Some drones have cameras installed inside, which works to transmit the recorded video on the camera side itself to your remote with the help of the receiver, but the video will be visible only if you have connected the remote with the smartphone. GPS is installed in the drone with which the camera is connected, whereas the drone without the camera does not.
Uses of Drones :
The most used gadget among the flying gadgets is the drone because it can be flown in the smallest space and it is also quite stable if it is compared with the remote control helicopter. Apart from this, smaller drones are used for entertainment, larger drones that weigh about 200 grams are used for investigation, drones of even larger sizes are used for video shooting. To carry and to carry less weighing goods. Whereas the largest drone is used by the army only to transport the heavy goods or to protect themselves. Most of the drones found in the market are available in weight less than 250 grams, whereas the heavy drones are not easily available because special permission has to be taken to fly the drones weighing above 250 grams, due to which they can easily be found in the shops. Not in me but only on online shopping sites.
Advantages of Drones :
- Drones are quite stable compared to remote control helicopters.
- The speed of a drone is much faster than a remote control helicopter.
Drawbacks of Drones :
- Drones consume a lot of current, which drains the battery quickly.
- Drones cost a lot.
- Drones are a bit more difficult to repair than a remote control helicopter.
- There is a lot of noise while driving the drone, because of the motor.
