Very few people know about BLDC fan because in today's time only standard fan ie ac fan is used. But it is very important for everyone to know about BLDC fan and I am sure that you will leave the front ac fan and start using BLDC fan because there is a big reason behind this which we will talk about below one by one. Will do it. That is why in this article you are going to be told what is BLDC fan, how BLDC fan works, what are the parts of BLDC fan, advantages and disadvantages of BLDC fan.
What is BLDC fan :
BLDC fan which is the short name while its full name is Brushless Direct Current Fan i.e. brushless dc fan. BLDC fan is completely different from other fans because its technology is completely different from other fans. Because the fans that run on ac current are called ac fans while some BLDC fans run on dc current and some bldc fans run on ac current. In this fan the brushes are not used to drive the motor inside it, hence it is called BLDC fan. It is important for you to know about BLDC fan because it consumes very less power than the rest of the fans and makes the sound very low. Apart from this, even if the voltage is low, the speed of the BLDC fan remains high, that is, the difference will not be seen. BLDC fan also gives good speed despite consuming less power. You should also remember that BLDC fans run on ac current only because a controller is installed inside it, with the help of which it runs only from the electricity that is given to our homes.

What is BLDC fan |
However, the biggest feature of a BLDC fan is that it can be run directly after connecting it to electricity, that is, it does not require a capacitor or any other parts to run it.
Note :
Some BLDC fan is designed in such a way that it runs on ac current only because the controller board is installed inside it that is why and some BLDC fan is designed in such a way that it runs on dc current only because of two types of BLDC fans in the market.
Parts of BLDC fan :
As we have told you that BLDC fans are completely different from the rest of the fans because some parts are seen separately inside it, which we have told one by one at the bottom which is as the follows :

Parts of BLDC fan |
- Motor :
The design of the motor inside the BLDC fan is different from the design of the rest of the fan motor, which we have described according to the picture because a single coil is mounted on the three armatures inside it.
- Controller :
Like we told you that some BLDC fan runs on dc current and some BLDC fans rons on ac current but the wires are not two but three and three wires are directly connected to different three coils. Electricity has to be given to the motor only with the help of three wires. Apart from this, the work of converting ac current into dc current is also done by the controller so that the dc current can get to the bldc motor. Many components are also installed on the controller board such as capacitors, resistors, transistors, transformers, diodes etc.
Note :
The capacitor is not installed inside the BLDC fan because the controller board is installed inside it.
How BLDC fan works :
Like we told you above that BLDC fans are completely different from all other fans because these fans are made on the latest technology, that is why. Two wires are given on the outermost side of the BLDC fan so that ac current can be given i.e. electricity can be given from outside, that is the electricity which is given to our homes. As soon as the ac current goes inside with the help of wires, then first the ac current goes to the controller board itself. After which the controller board forces by converting the ac current into dc current, then after this three wires come out which are directly connected to the motor. The current in all the three wires goes through all the wires alternately. By the way, power has to be given from only two wires to run the motor, while the third wire is also used alternately inside the BLDC fan itself to give electricity. But even if the BLDC fan is going to run on dc current, even then the controller inside it is not used to change the current because the dc current coming from outside is only that's why it is sent directly to the motor. But the controller is installed so that the three-wire motor can be run.

How BLDC fan works |
What I mean to say is that the controller does not give current to the motor simultaneously with the help of all three wires, but alternately gives electricity to only two wires, whereas current is not given in one of these wires and so one by one Happens with all strings one by one.
All you need to know is that the controller is installed in the BLDC fan so that the three wire motor can be run. Although there are only three wires inside the AC fan, but that fan runs on direct electricity because the electricity coming from outside is only AC electricity. Whereas BLDC fan runs on dc current that is why the controller is placed inside the BLDC fan. But the capacitor is not needed because the controller board is installed inside it.
Which is the best BLDC ceiling fan :
I have seen many different company's BLDC fan but among them the atomiser model BLDC fan from Orient company is the best because it has lowest cost, highest speed and run on 28 watt which is very best with features. Comes. With this BLDC fan, you don't need a remote to control the speed. That is, BLDC fans of both those running without remote and those running with remote will be available.
Note :
Orient atomiser BLDC fan you may not see in the market because I have not got it but was getting 32 watts which I did not take. I bought it directly from flipkart and there this model was there whereas this BLDC fan is not available on amazon.
Types of BLDC fan :
Fan makers have further made many types of BLDC fans so that it can be used according to different work. Types of BLDC Fan which are as follows :
- BLDC Ceiling fan
- BLDC Table fan
- BLDC Wall fan
- BLDC Exhaust fan
AC Fan vs BLDC fan :
There is a big difference between AC and BLDC fan. But all the points will be told in detail one by one which is as follows :
- Power consumption :
The biggest difference is the power consumption in ac and BLDC fan only. As ac fans consume electricity ranging from 70 watts to 90 watts. Whereas BLDC fans consume power ranging from 26 W to 32 W, which consumes three times less power than AC fans. For example, if you run the BLDC fan continuously for a month, then the electricity bill will come to about Rs 161. But at the same time, if you run the ac fan continuously for a month, then the electricity bill will come around 500 rupees, that is, about 350 rupees more electricity bill will come every month. So you can see how big the difference will be. If you are thinking that the cost of BLDC fan is 1000 rupees more, then you should also note that after paying 1000 rupees more electricity bill will come down by 100 rupees every month and after using BLDC fan for five years, 6000 rupees There is a savings.
- Noice :
AC fans i.e. standard fans make noise but when the inverter is running on the battery, it starts making more noise whereas in BLDC fan this does not happen because the controller board is installed inside it, due to which BLDC fan from 140 volts to 270 volts. Works at the same speed on electricity, due to which there is no sound. Because the technology of motor of BLDC fan is latest and there is no sound due to different size of fan.
- Speed :
The speed is sometimes a little less and sometimes more than the standard fan because the voltage coming from outside sometimes becomes more or sometimes less, due to which the speed is not seen the same. Whereas the speed remains the same due to sudden increase or decrease of voltage due to the controller being installed inside the BLDC fan. This is the biggest difference between AC fans and BLDC fans.
- Cost :
The cost of BLDC fan is about 10 percent more if you compare it with standard fan ie ac fan. Because the cost of standard fan is above Rs. 1500 whereas the cost of BLDC fan is above Rs. 2500. If you are thinking that you take a cheap fan, then you must also note that after every three months, the electricity bill will be 100 rupees more. If you install a BLDC fan, then every month the electricity bill will come down by Rs.100. That's why you need to think ahead.
Benefits of BLDC fan :
- The speed of the BLDC fan remains the same.
- There is no difference in the speed of BLDC fan due to high or low voltage.
- BLDC fans make sound at very low volume.
- Capacitor is not required to run BLDC fan.
Drawbacks of BLDC fan :
- BLDC fans are expensive.
- Using the step regulator, the speed of the BLDC fan is not reduced properly.
- By using the step regulator, the BLDC fan starts making a slight noise.
- A special regulator is required to run the BLDC fan.
Important notice :
Friends, there is no separate regulator with BLDC fan, that's why if you want to buy a separate regulator, then do not use step less regulator, the fan making company has said that. Use step regulator instead of step less regulator, only then you will be able to control the speed of BLDC fan. But we have applied step regulator only to control the speed of BLDC fan but the speed is not able to reduce properly like keeping it on number 4, the speed decreases, then it becomes little more and then it decreases. After that only on number 5 and on the last number, they work properly i.e. they catch good speed.Apart from this, before buying a BLDC fan, you should also keep in mind that some BLDC fans run only on ac current, while there are some BLDC fans that are capable of running only on dc current, so you should take the same BLDC fan which runs on ac current. Be able to run because the current that is delivered to our homes is AC current, that's why.
